What We Believe

WHAT WE BELIEVE

SALVATION

Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. It makes no sense for Jesus to die for our sins if there is another way. If you can get to heaven any other way except through Jesus Christ, it makes Christianity false because He said He was the only way, truth and life. No one gets to heaven and to the Father without going through Him. John 14:6

TRINITY

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate individuals that make up the Godhead. Although each member of the Trinity has a different function, they are one in name, aim, thought and purpose.
Colossians 2:8-9, Matthew 28:19, Mark 1:9-11

THE RETURN

According to Matthew 24:36, no one (not even the angels) knows the day or hour of Christ's return. Our Father God in heaven is the only one who knows that day. Our responsibility as Christians is not to try to figure out the day but to plan for the future and live today as if Jesus is coming tomorrow.
Acts 1:11

BIBLE

The Word of God is perfect, supernatural, and eternal. There is no question it cannot answer. There is no problem it cannot solve. Regardless to how advanced civilization becomes, the Word of God will not lose its relevancy, for it was authored by God Himself, the One who created the things that men are just now discovering. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
II Timothy 3:16

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit's first function is to live INSIDE of you, convict you of sin, convince you of that which is right and give you proper judgement in all things. John 14:17

There is a second function called the baptism in the Holy Spirit. In this function, the Spirit rests UPON you, giving you power to walk in victory, the same way Christ did when He walked the earth . When you receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, many powerful gifts are activated inside of you, and you are blessed with a heavenly prayer language called "speaking in tongues."
Acts 1:8

HEAVEN AND HELL

Man was created to live forever. He will exist either separated from God by sin or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is to end up in hell; to be eternally in union with Him is to go to heaven.

Heaven and hell are both real places of eternal existence.
John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15

MARRIAGE

We believe in marriage between an adult man and adult woman only. Whereas men may recognize other so called unions, marriage between a man and a woman is the only relationship that is ordained and blessed by God.
Ephesians 5:25-32

THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS

THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS 〰️

The Words of Christ

After His Resurrection, with His Disciples still not believing that He has risen from the dead, He suddenly appeared to two of His Disciples as they were going to a village called Emmaus. The Disciples did not recognize Who He was; they thought He was merely a stranger.

The Scripture says, “And He said unto them, What manner of communications are these that you have one to another, as you walk, and are sad?” (Lk. 24:17). They began to relate to Him all the things which recently had happened.

“Then He said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken:

“Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Lk. 24:25-27).

The Cross of Christ is the foundation principle of all Biblical Doctrine. It is the foundation because it is the first principle of Redemption, brought about in the Mind of God even before the foundation of the world (I Pet. 1:18-20). This means that every single doctrine must be built on the foundation of Christ and the Cross, or else, in some way, it will be spurious. And that’s the problem with the modern Church; it is building doctrines on other foundations.

Paul addressed this by saying:

“According to the Grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder (in essence Paul, under Christ, founded the Church), I have laid the foundation (Jesus Christ and Him Crucified), and another builds thereon (speaks of all Preachers who followed thereafter, even unto this very moment, and have built upon this foundation). But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon. (All must preach the same Doctrine Paul preached, in essence, “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”)

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid (anything other than the Cross is another foundation, and therefore unacceptable to the Lord)¸ which is Jesus Christ (Who He is, God manifest in the flesh, and what He did, Redemption through the Cross [I Cor. 3:10-11]).

In I Corinthians 1:17, which we have just quoted, the Holy Spirit through the Apostle tells us exactly what the Gospel is. To be brief, it is the “Cross of Christ.” As our Lord said to me, “The answer for which you seek is found in the Cross,” in effect, He actually said, “In the Cross, and only in the Cross.”

You Must Receive Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior

To be saved, a man must confess that Jesus is Lord, while acknowledging in his heart that Christ must have full rule over his life. This confession of Christ as Lord assumes that it is Christ who will work and fulfill His own righteousness within man, as man is unable to attain righteousness of his own accord.

Jesus calls this experience the “new birth.” He told Nicodemus: “. . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” ( Jn. 3:3 ).
We invite you now to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name” ( Jn. 1:12 ).

Pray this Prayer and Mean it with all Your Heart

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Congratulations!

If you prayed this prayer in all sincerity, you are now a Child of God. However there are a few things that you need to do to follow up on your commitment.

  • Get baptized ( full immersion) in water as commanded by Christ

  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.

  • Spend time with God each day through prayer and Bible reading

  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

This is the most important question in human existence and one whose answer is clearly outlined in scripture. In order to be saved we must first realize our true state of sinfulness before God and know that He alone can save us, cleanse us, and give us eternal life. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the only way and we can not have access to God through any other means. In fact, in John 14:6, Jesus plainly stated..."I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

God Loves You!

God loves you so much that he made a way for you, through the shed blood of his son so that you might be able to spend eternity with Him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life” ( Jn. 3:16 ).

Man is a Sinner, and Sin has Separated him from God!

You may think you are a good person but being good is not enough! Every man has sinned and there is none that is righteous before God!

“For there is not a just man upon Earth, that doeth good and sinneth not” ( Eccl. 7:20 ).

“For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).

Jesus Christ is the Only Remedy for Sin!

Jesus Christ is the only remedy for sin. We can not be good enough to get into heaven, nor can our good works get us there.

There was no other way for God to erase the effect of sin except by blood. The shedding of Christ's blood indicated that the penalty for sin had been paid; a perfect sinless life had been sacrificed for the lives of all who have sinned.

“. . .Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins” ( Hebrews 9:22 )

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God...” ( I Pet. 3:18 ).

“Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” ( Acts 4:12 ).
